Interestingly, this same criminal group was previously linked to a breach of The Royal Mail Group’s database earlier this year, where they demanded a $40 million ransom. However, The Royal Mail Group did not pay the ransom and instead enlisted the help of a forensic firm to recover from the cyber incident.
