AI being used for destruction by China

China is increasingly using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to develop weapons of destruction, the latest example of which is the AI-developed Warship design program. This program enables engineers to design a complex warship in just 12-15 hours, compared to the 16 months of effort required previously. This was recently confirmed by the Journal Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems of China.

The AI-driven software is helping China’s Ship Design and Research Center to quickly and accurately design warships, ammunition operations, electrical connections, and other components. Senior engineer Luo Wei has said that the program could be used to improve the Chinese naval fleet in terms of size and capacity.

At present, China’s People’s Liberation Army Navy is planning to create 34 such ships by next year and is looking to increase its 340 fleets of warships. The potential for AI robots to be employed to fight on the battlefield is a cause for concern.

The use of AI technology for military purposes is a potential threat to the world and it is essential for countries to draft a treaty to limit the use of AI for destructive purposes. Such a treaty could be similar to the one that prevents the use of nuclear power for destruction.

In conclusion, it is clear that the use of AI technology for military purposes is a growing concern that needs to be addressed. Countries need to take steps to limit its use for destructive purposes, such as drafting a treaty similar to the one that prevents the use of nuclear power for destruction.
